This title reminds me of what I now realize was the most memorable line of the TV series LOST, “I’m spry!” Bonus points if you know the name of the character that said the line. Spry was then and there eternalized as a great word.
So I have to start by acknowledging that two weeks have gone by since the last newsletter. This was largely due to a short trip to Blue Ridge with my old high school and college buddies depicted in the title image! This past Sunday was a very busy day and had me waking up just before 4am on Monday morning to drive 7 hours to meet up with the fellas. We went on an off-roading/camping trip in the mountains. Thanks to Roshan, Greg, and Rob, for making the trip happen!
And thanks to my wife Shuang for her coolness with me going on this trip.
With Spring and lifted COVID bans, it smells like gigs!
We have a new name for the band! Wait for it…
Noah and the Space Ark
NASA for short 🙂
We have written our first song as a band and I can’t wait to dial it in and share it with all of you! It’s a fun one.
I’ve been in the studio with Rey Soto working on a few more songs and we just knocked it out of the park with a song called Can’t Get Enough. I’m hoping my band can add it to our repertoire.
Open Mic at Southern Roots Park Circle has been building a little!
I had a great time playing for the Sea Island Farmers Market on Saturday and then Lou and I knocked em dead at Pub 61!
I’ve done the editing for the first episode of Noah’s Groovecast with Tim Falvey! I will be posting that shortly. And with that, the action never stops and I must get this newsletter on its way and get back to the action. Check my events page for upcoming gigs! Look for Noah and the Space Ark playing at a venue near you (in Charleston and surrounding areas)!
Also, it’s kinda windy…
Hit up Session Sports if you’re wanting to get after some kitesurfing this year!
Have a great one!!!!!
